Electric support The Batec Hybrid 2 handbike is a fast, easy-to-attach handbike with electric assistance. The electric assistance provides that extra push, allowing the handcyclist to effortlessly cover long distances or cycle more easily against the wind. If pedaling becomes too much, you can also continue riding entirely on electric power using a thumb throttle.
Latest techniques While most handbikes are equipped with a rotation sensor, the Batec Hybrid 2 features a force sensor. This ensures that the force you exert on the bike is directly converted into motion by the motor. The result is a very natural riding experience. Naturally, the assistance can be adjusted to various levels. The Batec Hybrid 2 comes standard with a start-off function that can be controlled via the pedals. You can also operate functions such as switching the lights on and off, the horn, and changing the assistance level using the handlebars. The new all-in-one display shows all the information you need, such as the remaining battery capacity, the selected assistance level, the speed, and the odometer. The Batec Hybrid 2 comes standard with two handbrakes, 9 gears, and provides assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h. For users with reduced hand function, a Tetra version of the Batec Hybrid 2 is available, which is equipped with a back-pedal brake and adapted gears, adjustable Tetra handles and a drive-away function.

While most handbikes are equipped with a simple rotation sensor, which only records the revolutions you're making, the Batec Hybrid 2 features a force sensor. This accurately measures the force you apply to the pedals and controls the powerful motor. The result is a very pleasant and natural riding experience; it literally feels like cycling with the wind at your back.

To easily pull away from a standstill, the Batec Hybrid 2 is equipped with a pull-away function. You can operate this, along with the horn, lights, gears, and pedal assist settings, without having to take your hands off the pedals. The all-in-one display shows all relevant information, such as battery status, selected assist level, speed, and mileage.
