E-Drive NXT
E-drive NXT is a further developed drive unit that is mounted on manual wheelchairs. It builds on E-drive with upgraded drive and modern hub motor technology that provides improved performance, stability and safety. You can choose to use the motor drive or roll yourself, depending on the situation and needs. With E-drive NXT, there is the possibility of individual adaptation that provides high quality and safe use for each user. Control is easy with a joystick with a clear display.
It is also possible to equip E-drive NXT with caregiver control, which gives the attendant good control and smooth operation. The system is equally well suited for indoor and outdoor use.
It is permitted to take E-drive NXT on flights. The user should always contact the airline before traveling or booking to ensure which regulations apply. Battery certificates are available through Decon Wheels.

The E-drive NXT is equipped with a new joystick with an integrated display that gives the user a better overview and control while driving. Important information such as speed mode, battery status and system messages are clearly displayed directly on the joystick, which reduces the need for separate indicators and makes use more intuitive.
The new layout contributes to a more predictable and safe driving experience, especially in situations where quick feedback is important, such as when driving outdoors or on slopes. The controls are positioned to be easy to reach and easy to understand, which facilitates both daily use and adaptation over time.
The joystick is delivered with a standard knob that suits most users, but can also be further customized. Various optional knobs are available, with varying shapes and grips. This makes it possible to choose the solution that feels most natural and comfortable, regardless of hand function or driving style. Together with the ability to adjust the joystick position, this provides an ergonomic, stable and comfortable driving experience.
Caregiver control
The E-drive NXT can be equipped with a caregiver control that is developed with the same focus on control, overview and safe use as the regular joystick. The control gives the caregiver the opportunity to maneuver the wheelchair with smooth and predictable movement, which facilitates both indoor use and more demanding outdoor environments.
The intuitive design provides a good sense of speed and movement, while clear information is displayed directly on the control. This makes the accompaniment safer and more comfortable, both for the user and the caregiver.
