Decon is paving the way for the European market

Decon strengthens partnership with Mobility Products

June 29, 2023 – Decon and Mobility Products (jointly “Decon Mobility”) will strengthen their long-term partnership, where Decon has acquired Mobility Products.

Decon Mobility is well-positioned to continue addressing the increasing demand for power-assisted electrical solutions for wheelchairs across the European mobility segment, leveraging its high-quality product offering, customer service, and distributor network.

Both Decon and Mobility Products’ management teams will remain intact and continue to operate separately in the respective countries and, through the stronger partnership, secure high-quality power-assisted product offering and best-in-class service for its customers across the European market.

In conjunction with the strengthening of Decon and Mobility Products long-term partnership, Impilo, a Nordic investment company focused on long-term investments in sustainable healthcare companies, has become co-owner alongside the current owners of Decon and Mobility Product.

The parties have agreed not to disclose any transaction details. Closing is expected in early Fall 2023.
